A Creative Journey

I'm Kira Schindler, an abstract German-Irish artist living in Munich.

I have a business degree and a background in the travel industry & project management — but a huge love for colours, beauty in nature & features and a great passion for creating artwork.

Initially devoted to photography, capturing moments from my travels around the world, I rediscovered a love for art, particularly in the museums I visited. This passion evolved into painting, where I lose all sense of place & time.

My style is a vibrant blend of nature-inspired themes abstracted with neon touches. A few of my works have figurative elements. In my portfolio you can find 1×2 metre large canvases with acrylics or small petite artwork on linen or paper in series.

It is the mix of the bold brushstrokes on huge canvases and the fine work on paper or linen that makes working so interesting to me. I am about to bring my work into different colour schemes & many more ideas and pieces will surface soon.
